There is a $5.95 USD processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order. There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges, unless otherwise specified.

There are no refunds. All sales are final.

If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

The Deluxe tour includes visits to two fine local wineries - Buena Vista, Gundlach Bunschu, Bartholomew Park Winery or Ravenswood. There's also a stop at one of Sonoma's best-kept secrets - Vella Cheese Factory for some cheese tasting and to learn about their three generation old cheese making process. Your deluxe tour will end downtown after seven miles aboard the Segway.

A Sonoma Segway Instructional Certification Lesson is included with this tour.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

~~ Is a security deposit required to take the tour?
Yes, when you arrive you will need to provide a credit card for a $300 security deposit authorization. This will not be charged to your card (unless you return the Segway broken or damaged), but you do need to have enough available credit on your debit or credit card for $300 PER MACHINE. (Please note that the credit card information used to purchase this tour is not stored, so you will need to bring your credit card with you to the tour to handle this authorization.)

How old must I be to take a Segway tour?
All Segway riders must be at least 12 years of age. Riders ages 12 to 18 must have a parent sign a waiver and participate in the tour as well.

What are the weight constraints to ride a Segway?
All Segway riders must weigh between 100 and 250 lbs.

What happens if it rains?
Tours run in heavy fog and mist. Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions. They do not run in heavy rain. Tours may be canceled in case of severe weather, and you will be able to reschedule at your convenience or receive a credit for a future tour.

What is a Segway?

Is it hard to ride a Segway? What if I've never ridden a Segway before?
The Segway HT requires no special skills (it takes care of the balancing-on-two-wheels part) and virtually anyone can use one. In addition to the ingenious technology, your tour will include a thorough safety and gliding training course given by a certified Segway instructor prior to departure.

Are cameras allowed on the tour?
Absolutely! Definitely bring your camera or camcorder to capture Sonoma's picturesque beauty - not to mention the sight of yourself on a Segway! There will also be high resolution photos of your tour for purchase after the tour.

Are restrooms available on the tour?
Yes, there is a restroom in the area where you'll train and several available restroom stops along the way.

Can I bring children on the tour?
Unfortunately, children under the age of 12 are not allowed on the tour.

Does this tour have anything to offer a local?
Absolutely! Many locals come on the tour for the sheer enjoyment of seeing Sonoma through new eyes via a Segway. It's a new and unique way to see the sights with which they may already be familiar, and it's also a treat for locals to bring their out-of-town guests to enjoy.

Are any beverages or snacks included in the tour?
You will be making stops at two wineries - with a light lunch included at one of them - and at a cheese factory. At the cheese factory, a complementary cheese tasting is included.

Are we on the Segways the whole time?
No, there are stops at the cheese factory and two wineries. We spend about 15 minutes at each stop.

Is there room on the Segway to store anything I choose to purchase while on the tour?
Yes, each Segway has an attached bag to carry your purchases.

Can I bring my pet on the tour?
Sorry, but pets of any kind are not allowed on this tour.

Do we taste wine when we stop at the wineries?
No, since you are driving a Segway, you won't actually taste wines. However, all riders age 21 and up receive a complimentary bottle of wine, and you will have the chance to purchase wine at the wineries.
